I am a passionate supporter of local recreational ice hockey team, the Coventry Centurions. My journey with ice hockey started when I was introduced to the sport through a local initiative learn-to-play scheme. From then on, I was hooked and have been supporting the team in various ways, including sponsorship.
At Carter Noble Electrical, we believe in giving back to the community, which is why I am proud to support the Coventry Centurions and their efforts to raise awareness for male suicide prevention through their association with the charity Men’s Minds Matter. The team lost a player and dear friend, Pavol Mikulcik, to suicide in late 2019, and since then, they have made it their mission to help try and prevent tragedies like this from happening in the future.
My sponsorship helps the team to function and keep their doors open, allowing them to continue their mission of raising awareness for this important cause. The team is also looking to host an annual weekend tournament in Pavol’s honor, where all proceeds will be donated to Men’s Minds Matter. This tournament will help raise awareness and bring the community together to support this great cause.
In my free time, I am a keen runner and enjoy eating healthily. I believe in leading a balanced lifestyle, and supporting local initiatives like the Coventry Centurions and their efforts to raise awareness for male suicide prevention is just one way I am able to do so.
